The Dublin Business Academy (DBA) offers students a hands-on introduction to the world of business, providing a unique and challenging non-traditional learning environment.

This program is designed for students who are passionate about business, graphic design, or entrepreneurship. Through the DBA, students will immerse themselves in all aspects of running a real-world business, including accounting, sales, graphic design, social media marketing, website management, financial documentation, customer service, business model development, logistics, and more. This experiential learning opportunity allows students to develop essential 21st-century skills and gain practical experience by operating a full-service screen-printing and design company. In partnership with Tolles Career and Technical Center, DBA is housed at Dublin City Schools’ Emerald Campus, where students from Coffman, Jerome, and Scioto High Schools come together to manage and grow this business, guided by experienced teachers and community business leaders

Course Information:
The Dublin Business Academy is a one-year program that meets in a two-period block. Students will run a full-service printing company, learning all aspects of company operations, including customer service, accounting, invoicing, material design, and printing. The program also provides opportunities for students to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit through Career-Technical Assurance Guide (CTAG) credit.
