Dublin Co-Op (Offered in the Home High Schools)
Ready to turn your interests into real experience? Dublin Co-Op connects students with authentic, mentor-supported work opportunities that align with their career interests and goals. Through hands-on experiences in the workplace, students build professional skills, expand their networks, and gain valuable insight into potential career pathways.
Students work with a Co-Op advisor to design an individualized experience, set goals, and reflect on their learning while developing communication, collaboration, professionalism, and problem-solving skills that transfer to any future career. For students seeking a more structured internship experience with seminars and coordinated placements, the Young Professionals Academy (YPA) may be a good alternative.
Open to: Grade 12 Dublin City Schools students
Course length: Semester (0.5 HS credit) or Yearlong (1.0 HS credit); may include time during or outside the school day
Transportation: Coordinated by student/family; contact Co-Op coordinator with questions
