Are you ready to turn your ideas into innovation? At the Engineering Academy, you’ll design, test, and build real solutions using tools that engineers use every day — from CAD and MATLAB to Python and rapid prototyping. Whether you dream of aerospace, robotics, or sustainable design, this academy lets you explore the world of engineering while earning high school credit — and even optional University of Cincinnati college credit through College Credit Plus (CCP). It’s where creativity meets precision and your designs take flight.

Open to: Grades 11–12, Dublin City Schools students
Course length: 2 periods daily • Yearlong (2.5 HS credits; optional 6 college credits)
Transportation: Free shuttle between home high schools and Emerald Campus
Enrollment: Algebra II required • Physics concurrent or completed • UC CCP application and GPA ≥3.0 for college credit. Access the district High School Scheduling page for more details.
Cost: Free • College credit tuition covered through CCP
Recognition: Optional University of Cincinnati CCP credit • Portfolio showcasing design projects and applied research
