Healthcare Professionals Academy
Are you ready to explore what it’s really like to work in healthcare? The Healthcare Professionals Academy gives you hands-on experience in hospitals, labs, and medical learning environments — alongside real healthcare professionals. Through a partnership with OhioHealth and Columbus State Community College, you’ll earn College Credit Plus (CCP) while studying topics like anatomy, medical coding, and laboratory science. It’s a powerful way to discover your passion for medicine, nursing, or allied health — and start building your future now.
Open to: Grades 11–12, Dublin City Schools students
Course length: Yearlong, multi-site program (Emerald Campus, CSCC Dublin, CSCC Main Campus, OhioHealth facilities)
Transportation: Provided between Emerald Campus and partner locations
Enrollment: CCP eligible; GPA ≥ 3.0 or placement scores (ACT 18+ / SAT 480+ / Accuplacer Writing 5+). Access the district High School Scheduling page for more details.
Cost: Tuition, books, and fees covered through CCP
