Course Information

• Program Length:  Two-year program (both years are recommended but not required)
• Meeting Time: Two periods each day at the Emerald Campus
• Course options have changed for the 24-25 school year and are subject to change for the 25-26 school year.

Option 1: (College Credit)

• CSC PROGRM FUND PYTHON CSD1510 - 1st Sem - 1 high school and 3 college credit
• CSC HTML & CSS ITS 1500 - 2nd Sem - 1 high school and 3 college credit
• IT Research and Field Experience - All Yr - 0.25/0.25 high school credit

Option 2: (No College Credit)

• Introduction to Programming Logic - 1st Sem - 1.0 high school credit
• Web Design - 2nd Sem - 1.0 high school credit
• IT Research and Field Experience - All Yr - 0.25/0.25 high school credit

Year 2 (Code: A166) 24-25

Option 1: (College Credit)

• CSC System Analysis and Design CSD 2100 - 1st Sem - 1 high school and 3 college credit
• CSC DATABASE MNGMNT CSD 1300 - 1st Sem - 0.67 high school and 2 college credit
• CSC SQL1 CSD 1310 - 2nd Sem - 0.67 high school and 2 college credit
• CSC JAVA & JQUART CSD 1600 - 2nd Sem - 1 high school and 3 college credit
• IT Research and Field Experience - All Yr - 0.25/0.25 high school credit

Option 2: (No College Credit)

• Microsoft Excel and Access - 1st Sem - 0.5 high school credit
• Python Programming - 2nd Sem - 0.5 high school credit
• Database Fundamentals - 1st Sem - 0.5 high school credit
• JavaScript Fundamentals - 2nd Sem - 0.5 high school credit
• IT Research and Field Experience - All Yr 0.25/0.25 high school credit

College Credit Plus Option:
The program includes an option to take college courses through Clark State College (24-25) to earn both high school and free college credit. To participate in the CCP option, students must complete the program requirements located on the district CCP page and pass the Clark State entrance exam.
