Hospitality Academy

The Hospitality Academy is designed for students interested in travel, tourism, lodging, food service, events, recreation, and guest experience. Through coursework, field experiences, speakers, and project-based learning, students explore how hospitality organizations serve people, manage operations, and create memorable experiences.
Students may pursue the high school credit option or, when available, a College Credit Plus option through Columbus State Community College. Both pathways focus on customer service, leadership, operations, career exploration, and portfolio-building experiences connected to the hospitality and tourism industry.
Status: Not offered in 2026–2027 due to low enrollment
Open to: Grades 11–12 Dublin City Schools students, when offered
Course options: A150HS, high school credit only • A150CCP, College Credit Plus option through Columbus State Community College
CCP option: CSHOSP1101, Hospitality 1101, 1st semester • 1.0 college credit and 0.33 high school credit
High school courses: Hospitality Fundamentals • Hospitality Management • Hospitality & Tourism Capstone
