Hospitality Academy — Option 1 (A150CCP) • College Credit Plus (Columbus State Community College)

By choosing A150CCP, students will have CSHOSP1101 as well as all of the courses under A150HS.

Optional CCP: CSCC Hospitality 1101 (CSHOSP1101 )

By choosing A150CCP, students will have this course added in addition to all of the courses below.

Grades 11–12 CCP Length: 1st Semester (1.0 college credit and 0.33 HS credit)

College-level survey of hospitality sectors with emphasis on service, industry structures, and career pathways. Requires completion of district CCP steps and CSCC eligibility.

Hospitality Fundamentals, Hospitality Management, and Capstone (applies to either option)

Hospitality Fundamentals (731)

Grades 11–12 CTAG Length: 1st Semester (1.0 HS credit)

Explore travel & tourism, lodging, food service, meetings & events, recreation, and destination marketing. Emphasis on customer service, industry trends, field visits, speakers, and research into careers and operations.

Hospitality Management (732)

Grades 11–12 CTAG Length: 2nd Semester (1.0 HS credit)

Leadership and operations in hospitality: strategic planning, service standards, staffing & teamwork, quality control, financial awareness, and guest experience. Applies learning through on-site observations and project work.

Hospitality & Tourism Capstone (733)

Grades 11–12 CTAG Length: Yearlong (0.5 credit)

Apply program learning in authentic contexts. With school and community partners, students plan and execute projects, integrate field experiences, and produce portfolio artifacts demonstrating industry-aligned skills.
