Early College Academy
The Early College Academy gives you a head start on college—without leaving high school. Through our partnership with Columbus State Community College (CSCC), you’ll earn real, transcripted college credit in a supportive environment designed to help you thrive. Each college course meets two days a week, alternating two days with Composition and then two days with either Psychology or Sociology. Continue for the full year to advance into Composition II and your second social science—earning up to four high school credits and twelve college credits by the end of the year. On Fridays, students participate in a College Seminar—a collaborative space to strengthen academic skills, explore college pathways, and connect what they’re learning across disciplines. It’s designed to build reflection, confidence, and readiness for what comes next.
You’ll take on real college expectations with real professors—earning credits that count while gaining the support, structure, and personal guidance that set you up for success.
