IB Core (TOK • CAS • EE)

At the heart of the IB Diploma is the IB Core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity–Activity–Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay (EE). These three components run alongside your IB courses and are designed to broaden your learning, grow your voice as a thinker, and help you apply knowledge in creative, meaningful ways.

Students enrolled in four or more IB courses across junior and senior year are eligible to take the IB Core. Diploma candidates complete the Core as part of the full program.
