IB Global Politics

IB Global Politics invites students to explore how power, governance, and decision-making shape the world we live in. From day one, students engage with real-world political issues using current events, case studies, debates, and global examples to understand how local, national, and international systems interact.

The course emphasizes inquiry and critical thinking. Students examine topics such as human rights, development, peace and conflict, sustainability, and global cooperation while learning how political perspectives are formed, challenged, and communicated. Classroom discussions encourage students to question assumptions, analyze multiple viewpoints, and connect theory to lived experience.

Whether students are interested in public service, law, international relations, business, or advocacy, IB Global Politics equips them with the skills to engage thoughtfully and responsibly in a complex world. Students leave the course with a deeper understanding of global issues and the confidence to participate in informed, respectful dialogue about the challenges facing societies today.
